Canine Parvovirus

Spring is coming and we are all anxious for warmer weather. At PAH, however, spring also means an upsurge in the number of puppies we see with Parvovirus – and it’s already starting. “Parvo” can affect a dog of any age, but puppies are especially vulnerable, as their immune systems are still immature. If your puppy becomes lethargic or has vomiting /diarrhea, please see your Veterinarian as soon as possible.   The good news is that Parvo is preventable with vaccination.   Ask us!
